TV ratings for Wednesday, October 1st have arrived.? Here’s a brief look at the highlights:

  • The latest semi-misogynistic murder series from CBS, Stalker, debuted to a 2.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and scored 9.07 million viewers, which is about even with its time slot predecessor CSI’s numbers from last fall.? The season premiere of Criminal Minds was down 4% from last year with a 2.7 rating and 11.54 million viewers
  • Over on ABC, Modern Family was down 10% from last week to a 3.5 rating and 10 million viewers, while new comedy black-ish fell 24% from last week’s series premiere to a 2.5 rating and 7.96 million viewers.? Elsewhere on the network, The Middle was down 14% to a 1.9 rating and 7.05 million viewers, The Goldbergs dipped 4% to a 2.2 rating and 6.67 million viewers, and Nashville closed out the night even with its premiere’s 1.5 rating and scoring 5.15 million viewers.
  • Over on NBC, The Mysteries of Laura dropped 7% to a 1.4 rating and 8.89 million viewers, Law & Order: SVU was down 18% to a 1.8 rating and 7.81 million viewers, and Chicago P.D. hit a 1.6 rating and 6.68 million viewers for a drop of 16%.
  • Fox’s Red Band Society matched last week’s 1.1 rating and scored 3.33 million viewers, and is looking like it could be this year’s first cancellation.
