See AllWill ‘Superman,’ ‘Jurassic World: Rebirth,’ or ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Be the Biggest Box Office Hit of the Summer?
There are a lot of movies premiering this year, but perhaps none are bigger than Superman, Jurassic World: Rebirth, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and they're all coming in the same month. Which of the three has the most potential to be the biggest box office hit? Marvel has a proven track record, but it hasn't been as profitable lately as it's used to (other than Deadpool & Wolverine). Jurassic World is almost guaranteed to be a major hit, especially with it premiering before July 4th weekend, but Superman is tougher to predict, as DC has had plenty of hits and misses and is now under a new regime. Which of the three will finish its theatrical run earning more than the others?
Would Alan Ritchson or Jensen Ackles Be a Better Batman for the DCU?
James Gunn and Peter Safran said that development is still ongoing for Batman: The Brave and the Bold, but we've still heard nothing about who is going to play The Dark Knight in the DCU. Alan Ritchson is such an imposing force in Reacher and basically every action project he's part of, and while some may say he's too old, we know Batman will already have a son in the DCU, so him being 42 isn't an issue. There has also been talk that Supernatural and The Boys star Jensen Ackles would make for a good Batman, and while he may not be as physically imposing as Ritchson, he has the looks and charm to nail the Bruce Wayne aspect of Batman. Who would be a better Batman: Alan Ritchson or Jensen Ackles?
Is It Possible for ‘Doomsday’ and ‘Secret Wars’ To Reach the Same Heights As ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame’?
There has been a lot of news circling around about the upcoming Avengers movies, especially after the release of Captain America: Brave New World, which left much to be desired in the eyes of many MCU fans. Is there any chance that Doomsday and Secret Wars will be even close to the same level of hits that Infinity War and Endgame were? It seems unlikely, as there doesn't seem to be the same level of attachment to these characters as there was to Iron Man, Black Widow, etc. Can Doomsday and Secret Wars ultimately go down as two of the best movies the MCU has to offer, given how the MCU has led to this point in Phases 4 and 5?
Can ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Continue ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’s Success? Or Will It Finish Closer to ’The Marvels’ at the Box Office
Opinions vary on the MCU now more than ever, even after the success of Deadpool & Wolverine, which earned over $1.3 billion at the global box office. During the post-Endgame era, Marvel has had other box office hits, like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, both of which feature previously established characters as the lead. With Captain America: Brave New World hitting theaters later this week, do you think it’s going to fall more in line with the major hits of Phases 4 and 5, or will it fall short of other Captain America movies? Even? The Winter Soldier?grossed $714 million globally after opening with $95 million, which seems like it might be out of reach for Brave New World.
