Ima’s love for writing goes beyond words on a page, it’s about creating something meaningful that resonates with people. Whether it’s breaking down why sitcoms still slap or helping Collider fans navigate the entertainment world, she’s always up for a challenge. Plus, writing gives her an excuse to procrastinate with a good movie and call it “research.”

She’s got a BA in Journalism and an M. Litt in Ancient Cultures (because why not?), but she’s always known her heart belongs to pop culture. Her philosophy? Keep learning, keep growing, and always have snacks on hand.

Industry Experience

Ima’s professional journey has been all about versatility and growth.
She’s worked everywhere from a UK-based content repurposing company, Content 10X, to the corporate offices of ExxonMobil, where she learned how to keep things polished and professional while secretly dreaming of entertainment writing.

She has supervised editorial processes, revamped landing pages in fields she had zero experience in (hello, cybersecurity), and kept writers on track while churning out her own content. Her time at Exxon Mobil added a corporate flair to her skills, with experience in record-keeping, stakeholder liaison, and communication. But when the day is done, her favorite tasks are storytelling and connecting with an audience.

Favorite Media

Her taste in movies and TV shows is pretty widespread, but she definitely has a soft spot for long-running shows like Seinfeld, Friends, and The Big Bang Theory. Throw in a couple of horror flicks, and you've pretty much gotten her figured out. Her taste in movies and TV may be all over the place, but that’s part of her charm.
