About Brynn Kushner

A recovering journalism major, Brynn accidentally learned about TV development while studying abroad in Australia--a trip that was?supposed?to be merely a beach vacation disguised as a college semester. After graduating, she set off for Los Angeles with nothing but a dream and a vague idea of what a "pilot order" meant. Having now worked with the development teams of some of the most reputable studios and streamers in the industry, Brynn has returned to her journalism roots, bringing a decade of TV experience along with her.

Industry Experience

Brynn has spent her career working in television ever since going full Kenneth Parcell as an NBC Page. She spent the following decade as part of the series development teams at Apple TV+, WGN America, and Simon Kinberg's Genre Films, and has worked on premium series such as Apple TV+'s Severance and Invasion and CBS All Access' The Twilight Zone. Before joining Collider, she wrote over 200 episodes of action-adventure podcast series Insta Empire for Pocket FM.

Favorite Media

Brynn gravitates toward high-concept scripted series--especially those that bend the rules of genre and storytelling structure--and reality competition shows. Recent favorites include Disney+'s Wandavision, Apple TV+'s The After Party, and Peacock's The Traitors. NBC's comedy line-up of the 2000s is also on a constant rotation.

Sundays, however, are reserved for the Philadelphia Eagles.
